Hey now you can ask either Silver or Dimentio a question. I'll answer almost any question that involves Sonic or Mario OR ANYTHING! I have a lot to tell you guys! I may not tell you everything since I don't know everything. So please don't go,"YOU LIED!" okay. And If I tell you incorrect information please don't criticize. This will also serve as a History page!

Silver answers: Silver the hedgehog first appeared on the game "Sonic the Hedgehog" for the XBox 360 and PS3. He was sent back in time by Mephiles to destroy Sonic and to save the future world from destruction. It turns out Mephiles lied to Silver and Mephiles is the evil one. In the end Sonic, Silver, and Shadow all transform into there super forms and defeat Mephiles and the Iblis. The games Silver has appeared in are: Sonic the hedgehog(2006), Sonic and the Secret Rings, Sonic Rivals 1 and 2, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl (as a trophy and a background character). If you want more info just ask another question!

Silver answers: Sonic the hedgehog begins in the end of an untold story, where Sonic is fighting Eggman. Sonic transforms into super sonic to stop Eggman. But, Eggman's new machine disrupts the power of the chaos emeralds. And sonic loses his power. Eggman uses the Emerald's power to summon a monster named Dark Gaia, from the center of the world, which shatters the planet. It's up to Sonic to travel the world and find the Emerald Shrines to return the world back to normal. But there is a side affect to the machine's blast. The same machine Eggman used to zap Sonic with, also causes him to transform into a monster at night. Sonic obtains greater strength and abilities during this form. Just ask another question for more info!

Silver answers: The idea of Hyper Sonic was first brought in StH 3 but never returned. I know a lot, but you chose a difficult question to answer. First of all, it wasn't a "huge success" according to my research, many people didn't even know about this, until they got what was necessary. Several reasons why Sega dropped the idea could be that: Super Sonic looked cooler to most people, the pink part maybe dis-tilting, it would have been hard to animate, and that tails looked the same, he just had birds. These reasons could be why they discontinued them in the game. Sega was too busy trying to beat Nintendo's Mario at the time. So, maybe Sega focused more on gameplay, graphics, and level design, then to complicated super forms. So that's why MAYBE they probably only kept Super Sonic. and probably did this to make Sonic look like a "leader". I hope this info helped you! If you can, ask another question!

Superrailadventures asked: Why were you added in the Sonic cast? (11/1/08)

Silver answers: The real reason, I'll truly never know. But, they probably added me to have another storyline to Sonic 06. After Sonic Heroes, the repetitive gameplay got annoying to some players. And the two sides of the story on SA2 Battle, was a great idea. So, Sega probably added me to make the 3rd part, a balance between Sonic Heroes and SA2 Battle. Some speculate that "Nazo" a Silver like figure that appeared in a Sonic X pilot, was a "beta version of Silver". If Sega animators would have been done faster, Silver would have been on Sonic X and a different character... I hope this helps! Thanx for asking!

Silver Answered Once More: I figured out why Silver was created, he was added to Sonic 06 to make use of a new gameplay engine Sega was developing, now known as Silver's psychokinetic gameplay. (12/27/08)

Silver Answers: I think that would be a great idea! I personally am more familiar with the SA2 gardens then the SA gardens. I support that idea, but this is only my opinion...

Silver Answers:  Well I felt it was neither personally. It was not a let-down because kids looked Shadow upon being more  "Tough" or something. It wasn't an uplift that much either because of the cursing and violence. If this were to happen with Mario himself, with more violence and cursing, Mario would become a letdown. Parents would not trust Nintendo as much. Just like what happened to Conker the Squirrel. I hope this helps! Thanks for asking!

Silver Answers: Actually, Mario has other family members. They are never mentioned in the shows or video games. They have never been mentioned for quite a while. Mario and Luigi had there parents named Mr. Mario and Mrs. Mario. Mario Joe, and Luigi Bob were cousins. Maria and Luigeena were both aunts. Luigeena II and Marianne were other cousins of Mario and Luigi too. All these characters were only mentioned in live-action plays or early comic strips. Those rumors you heard are PROBABLY incorrect. The last Mario movie was a disaster to many people, sadly. Many people didn't adore it. Nintendo or any movie company wouldn't make that nowadays. Trust me.... there isn't gonna be another Mario movie. Thanks for asking! Tell me where you heard that...

Silver Answers: Well, according to Sega, she's still alive, she dies in Sonic 06, but since the future is altered by the fight with Solaris and since Sonic never meets the Princess Elise, none of that never happens, so technically Blaze never dies. Assuming Sonic Rush Adventure happens after Sonic 06, Blaze returns to her universe safely and continues her life there as princess and Guardian of the Sol Emeralds. But, if she did die I (Silver) would do anything to bring her back, even if it meant sacrificing myself. If she were alive I would do anything for her.

Silver Answers: Well, I'd say I might probably win, but a small chance. You can get an easy S rank on that fight if you use just me in a correct way. But, who knows, I think it depends on my self-consciousness and willingness! AS you know, if you try your best and believe in your self you can do almost anything!

Silver Answers: Yes there is, other ways to get more coins are posting in the forum and blog. Other ways are visiting certain page and posting videos. You can post videos in the video page by signing in.

Cornn Asked: Can Silver use the force? I've seen him!

Silver Answers: Please don't be naive... That's not the force, Although it reminds you of it huh? It's called psychokinesis. The ability to move things with your mind. That is what Silver possesses since he dwells in the distant future. A statement said it was normal to have this in the ability in the future, others say he got it somehow in an unknown way.

Silver Answers: Clearly the answer to this may be hard, there is no statement that says so or not. But clearly by looking at official artwork and some shows, Shadow's shoes and gloves look removable. In Sonic Riders Shadow has different shoes, they have laces, which Shadow's shoes normally don't. He has removable rings on his wrists, and his gloves can be removed too! In early versions of Shadow, he has gloves with rings on his wrists, in later concept, he has the rings and different gloves with a red puffy thing sticking out. This MIGHT be a different glove. So your answer to this question is yes i presume. (1/3/08)

Silver Answers: First of all, the site used to be called Sam White's Games and Fun, but that was too wierd later on that more ppl came, so I changed it to SGC-X! It stands for Sam's Game Center X.
Second of all, my slogan used to be " A new era of gaming" but I changed it to "Everything has an origin" Which means that all  famous and non-famous creations had one point in time where they were not-well known, and started from one place. Basically, everything that exists comes from somewhere, including my site. That is actually part of a quote from one of th sonic games.
third and lastly, project T.R.A.D.E. and G.A.M.E. are to be kept secret as of right now....other ppl hav asked me about it but i refrain from telling anyone until moer ppl visit my site regularly. I OWE MUCH TO YOU for the creation of this project, Smashkote. (3/4/09)

Silver Answers: All the known OFFICIAL inforamation of Nazo comes from this image. There has been however fan creations of him throughout the internet, that are not official. This image appeared in the sonic website of japan and in a Sonic X Pilot. Some assume he was a new villain. Others say he was a prototype of Silver, others say he was Sonic's new Super Form. The truth? I do not know.... This truth lies in the heads of his creators...(3/8/09)

Silver answers: The true answer lies within the SEGA staff...but I'll tell you this: it's simply because it is not needed. Remember recently SEGA nearly had to make some cuts in later games because of rushed deadlines. It's possible that Chao Garden in later games would probably be a hassle.  I'm sure the Chao Garden appearing in Chronicles was just like a good-bye or something for the chao gardens. Since SEGA didn't really work on it. It was just probably one last attempt at something. I wish they'd make more, but Sonic and the Black Knight and Unleashed turned out not to have those gardens...(3/9/09)

Silver answers: I will be answering as Samuel, Sam likes the middle era the best, and a little into the new-school era. But, he commonly prefers the middle era more..... especially SA2B.(4/21/09)

Pokemon Z RPG asked: Silver, do you think they will make another Smash Bros.? If so, what characters would you want to see in it?

Silver answers: Sorry for the wait, but um...yes. I do think they shall make another super smash bros game, just not soon though. It will probably take Nintendo or Sora (or whoever is making it) quite a while. In fact, who knows if it might be on the wii. I'd like to see the assist trophies back with even MORE characters, and I'd like to see Roy returning, Shadow, Waluigi, Louie, Dimentio, um...Silver, and Ichigo and some others that i cannot recall. Silver Answers: Probably not, due to the fact that there has already been one, I highly doubt there will be another since Shadow's past is well explained now. And Shadow left behind Maria in those games...

Silver answers: That would be incredible! I would love for it to occur! It would explain my mysterious origins and mysteries of the future.... sadly it probably won't happen. Why? Because Shadow got his own game because he was popular with fans. I'm not-so-popular.... I wish that could happen...

J-Manza Asked: Who is Mephiles?

Silver Answers: Mephiles, known as Mephiles the Dark, was a dark character from the Game Sonic 06 fro the XBOX 360 and PS3. He was introduced as the smart half of Solaris, a project created by researchers of Soleanna to make eberything safe and well. However, Solaris the flame, split in two after not listening to the Duke of Soleanna 10 years before the events of Sonic 06. At this time, Silver and Shadow travel to the past to see what is occuring. As they are in the past, Silver hunts down Iblis, the other half of Solaris and Shadow goes after Mephiles, the otehr half, with the Scepter of Darkness, given to him by the Duke. After the gameplay of a level, Mephiles is sealed inside the Scepter of Darkness and Iblis, the strength, is sealed inside Princess Elise. After this, Silver and Shadow go to the future. Later on, Shadow accidently drops the scepter of darkness when he is attacked by Dr. Eggman. As it breaks, Mephiles is set free, and takes on the shadow of Shadow, which gives him the looks of Shadow in a paler form, although he is later seen in his Crystalized Form. After many stuff happens, Mephiles at the end of the game, adn after fighting with Shadow several times, Mpehiles kills Sonic. (Mephiles actually has the power to call all the emeralds to him once he possess one.) After Sonic's death, Elise cries, which releases Iblis. Then Mephiles and Iblis combine, to make Solaris. Afterwards, The end of the world takes place, and Sonic is brougth back to life. Sonic, Shadow, and Sivler, all go super and fight and defeat Solaris.

Silver answers: That cannot be completely answered with fact, but I can tell you that Sonic team might not make a game concentrated on them two exactly. There might be a future game with Sonic and Shadow but with other characters. however, everyone's opinion is different on an "interesting storyline".

 DCKnuckles asked: Hey Dimentio, I got a question about one of ur character bios. For Eggman you approximate his age as 46 but if that were true he wouldn't have been born until after the death of both Maria and Gerald. But if you recall in Sonic X, I believe SA2B as well he types his own name as a password for Gerald's diary. But if Eggman wasn't born until after Gerald's death wouldn't there b no possible way for Eggman to be the password. So don't you think he should be older? Like around 56 or so.

Dimentio answers: Well, you do have a point there, I heard from certain research to come up with that answer, but i have heard other answers, too. His real age is actually not released, but there can be inferences. Jolly, i'll be glad to include a ? symbol next to his age now. thank you for pointing this out, however i do have a semi-explanation, but it will be to wacky for us to converse with.

 Dimentio answers: If your going to make another site, don't make it too big or workative. Since you already gave up sitebuilding to help otehr sites as a staff member, you should just focus on something that updates itself, like a forum focused site, that is powered by the visitors... thanks for asking.

Dimentio answers: Well, I heard that too, but his original artist Naoto Ōshima, claimed him to be around 9-10 years old due to his short and fat-like appearance. You see, the comics are american, which have a different viewpoint than the original japanese creators. Thanks for asking. However, teh pesky teenager part.... I do not know for sure. But that show was american too.

Dimentio answers: Yes, but before Yoshi's Island DS came out, originally the concept was that luigi was a younger brother of Mario, It was also seen in a commercial for Superstar Saga that Mario appeared bigger. The following are profiles, locations and history of the Mario and Sonic Games!

Before I introduce you to the characters, I'd like to present to you certain scenarios in which Mario and Sonic are connected. PLEASE READ B4 CRITISIZING THE DIAGRAM!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE UNIVERSE'S CONNECTION

Okay, so this picture may seem confusing, but I'll explain. This illustrates the worlds in which Mario and Sonic have existed. now, before you complain you Sonic Comic readers, I have entitled under Earth the name mobius, because in the comics Mobius is future earth and sonic resides in a future Earth. Well first of all, let us begin. We hypothetically live in an alternate earth to Mario or Sonic. First let's start with Mario's side.

Mario originally lived on Earth, but was born in the Mushroom world. Born in the Mushroom World makes him a citizen of the Mushroom Kingdom and not a citizen of the United States of America. Somehow and somewhere, Mario's Parents ended up in Brooklyn via Warp Pipe. (in an alternate phase they were born in Brooklyn but this would go against the video games and go with the comics). Then, Mario lived there throughout his childhood with Luigi. After growing up, Mario and Luigi ran a plumbing service in Brooklyn. One day, the plumbers got a job, and went to a woman's house where they tried to unclog a bathtub drain, surprisingly that drain was none other than a mystical Warp Pipe.  Thus, Mario and Luigi were sucked in and traveled through space and time. they then found themselves in the Mushroom Kingdom. In the mushroom kingdom they met everyone they knew today (including the Mushroom King, who is now never shown). the Mushroom King pleads the brothers to help him against king Koopa. The Brothers then go off to stop him and eventually defeat him. Which starts there entire series. But anyways, here's the real deal, Mario traveled to the mushroom world via warp pipe, which means there must be other pipes leading to other worlds. ( also shown in some games) It is probably really rare to find a pipe that leads to a different PLANET OR DIMENSION though. Thus the line I drew in the diagram that connects Earth and The Mushroom World is the connection of Warp Pipes. Mario has traveled back and forth from the mushroom world to Earth, but he decides to call the Mushroom World his home since he is its savior.

Now, lets go with Sonic's side, which is more complex. According to the original Japanese manuals, books, creators, etc. Sonic HAS ALWAYS lived on Earth ( or an alternate earth of what to Mario's). Mobius was just an american Adapted name which eventually is known as Earth in the distant future. Sonic has the ability to chaos control which always his to travel through space and time, or alter it. According to the contreversial Sonic X, Sonic originally lived in his world until he was warped to Earth via Chaos control. However this is technically a canon, since Yuji Naka once stated that this was an alternate happening. (and nobody likes Chris Throndyke, rite?) So anyways the 3rd planet is the hypthetical Sonic X planet in which sonic hypothetically lived before Sonic X. But the Earth symbolizes not only our earth or Mario's but Sonic's true home and what is known as Mobius in the distant Future. The line I drew between the two is the connection established through Chaos control.

Now, about that 3rd connection, the HYPOTHETICAL connection between Sonic X world and the Mushroom World. Technically with Chaos Control this connection COULD exist, and same with Warp Pipes. Which Means Warp Pipes COULD exist on Mobius or Sonic X World. However it doesnt do to Real World Creators and dumb Copyrites. But if this were a true dimension then they would.

Now, the Lines making space in between the planets are labled Universes. Since Mario can linger about in his universe, and the same with Sonic on Earth or on Sonci X World. However I split Earth in two universes since It has multiple Alternate Realities. (I should have splited it into an infinite number of pieces since we need an alternate reality for everything, i.e. Simpsons, Jackie Chan Adventures, Crash, Our World, Halo's World , other universes, etc.) oh! and since I mentioned those otehr universes then there must be Warp Pipes or the ability to access thiose other worlds using chaos control, because if it wouldn't, then Chaos Control would'nt Truly be chaos Control.

This diagram will prove the connection making Mario and Sonic at the olympic Games true. If Sonic comes from Earth, he would just Time Travel to reach our Earth and go into China. ( or use Chaos Control to go from his Sonic X World and get here) And, Mario would just re-access earth via warp pipe as he has done NUMEROUS times before.

I am not here to make an OFFICIAL proof, since I do not work for SEGA or Ninendo. however, I"m pointing out Reasonable and Maybe-True Inferences. So do not Critisize if you haven't read the whole thing. and after all, I'm ONLY A FAN WITH HIGH KNOWLEDGE. Please comment about this issue below.

FURTHER READING: I have made SOME mistakes in the diagram but I explained myself fair enough in this passage. One mistake I made was putting the universe's as Universes". Wehn you think about it I should have labeled it Meta-Universe, since each series has more than one universe. For example, in Mario's meta-universe, there are the events of Super Paper Mario, The overthere, The Mushroom Universe, etc. Same with sonic. i do know many enemies have threatened the eniter Meta-universes of each series, for example Count Bleck tried to destroy all worlds, but then didn't so Dimentio took advantage and Tried to destroy EVERYTHING IN EXISTANCE, and build his own meta-universe where he would be considered a god. Anyways, when you think about it in one way "THE Meta-universe could be our universe and sonic's, and Mario's, and Jackie Chan's Adventures, and halo, and the simpsons' universes all combined too. But that is all in theory. anyways Thanks for your further reading.

Trivia:

• Mario's Super Mario Strikers jersey number is 1. This might actually be a reference to Mario's status in the series, as only goalkeepers wear number 1 jerseys in actual soccer/football.
• Mario appeared as the best purchasable character in Nintendo Monopoly. He costs $400, and replaced the Boardwalk.
• Mario's full name is refered to as "Mario Mario", as set forth by the Super Mario Bros. movie. This appears to apply to all continuities in the series, however, because Mario and Luigi are called the "Mario Bros." The box of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show DVD "Mario's Movie Madness" describes Mario as Mario Skywalker when referring to the episode " Star Koopa." 
• Mario has also appeared in Tomytec's Dots. 
• A Mario statue made out of wax stands in the Hollywood Wax Museum. This is currently the only wax-statue of a video game character.
  • In the first Animal Crossing game, Mario appeared as a furniture piece named Mario Statue.
  • In the recent games, Mario's colors are lighter than his colors in 2002 to 2006.

History Timeline of Mario

The following is put as in Mario's Time, not ours. BT64 stands for Before the 64, the events of Super Mario 64. The reason I chose this date was because it was the 1st true 3-D Mario game.

Approx 30 years BT64: Mario Mario is born.

Approx. 28-30 years BT64: Luigi is Born, and storks deliver the babies to their parents,but on the way Kamek attacks them and baby Luigi is captured. Mario and a Yoshi go and save him. (events of Super Mario World 2 occur)

Approx. 10 years BT64 : Mario (Jumpman) is walking with his Girlfriend, Pauline. When all of a sudden a giant gorilla grasps hold of her, Jumpan sets of to rescue her by dodging Barrels and items. Afterward he rescues her.

Approx. 9 Years BT64: Mario meets up with Luigi for the first time after his childhood. They fight together in the dark scary sewers against turtles, wasps and other weird creatures as part of their new job.

Approx. 8 years BT64:  Mario heads of to rescue a new girl, Princess Peach in the events of Super Mario Bros.

Approx 8 years BT64: Mario heads off towards the Lost Levels.

Approx. 7 years BT64: Mario goes to sleep and enters the dream world of Subcon along with Luigi, Peach and Toadstool to save the land from Wart. (SMB 2)

Approx. 6 years BT64:  Mario ventures to Sarasaland to rescue Princess Daisy from Tatanga,and succeeds! But while Mario is off rescuing her, Wario takes over his estate (or castle). Mario must travel the Mushroom Kingdom to find 6 golden coins to use the power to defeat Wario. After Mario collects the 6 golden coins, he fights Wario as the Final Battle, and wins.(content from super Mario Land 1 and 2)

Approx. 4 Years BT64: Bowser has returned to the Mushroom Kingdom with his 7 children to help. Mario must venture through 8 worlds of the Mushroom Kingdom to save all 8 kings and defeat the 7 koopalings and Bowser. Mario succeeds once more in defeating them. (SMB3)

Approx. 2years BT64: Mario and Princess Peach were traveling to Dinosaur Land on a hot air balloon. They arrived there and Cape Luigi gave Mario a feather, and Mario turns into Cape Mario. Then, Bowser and the koopalings appear and seal Yoshi's friends in eggs and steal Peach. Mario and Luigi travel through Dinosaur land while defeating the koopalings to rescue peach with Yoshi's help. They then defeat Bowser and rescue Peach. Mario, Luigi,  and Peach have a wonderful vacation in Dinosaur Land and then return home.

0 Years BT64: Peach sends Mario a letter to come to the castle, but when Mario arrives, Bowser has stolen her into the castle walls. Mario must travel into magical paintings and retrieve the Power Stars. The Power Stars will let Mario Defeat Rainbow Bowser at the end of the Game. Mario defeats Bowser and grasps the final star and leaves. He arrives at the Castle Later and summons Peach out of the castle walls using the last power star. Peach calls Mario inside so they can bake a cake. Mario goes inside following Peach and some toads.

Approx. 1 year AT64: Mario, Toadsworth, some Toads and Peach travel to Isle Delphino to have a vacation. the plane lands abruptly because of goo on the airstrip. The visitors come out of the Plane and see the goo. Mario finds F.L.U.D.D. by some boxes and outs him on. Shadow Mario is spotted by Peach in one scene. Mario fixes the goo problem and is put in jail because the people of the island think he was Shadow Mario. Mario has to clean up the island of graphitti and collect the shine sprites to restore the sunshine to the island. At the same, time he figures out Shadow Mario is actually Bowser, JR. Bowser's newest son. After collect enough Shine Sprites the city floods and Mario is able to go inside Corona Mountain, Bowser's hideout. Afterward Mario battles Bowser in what appears to be in the sky, near space. After Beating Bowser by flipping the giant tub he is in. They all fall down to Earth. F.L.U.D.D. is broken and Bowser loses and lands on another small island. Afterward F.L.U.D.D. is fixed and Mario, Peach, the toads have a vacation.

Approx. 2 Years AT64: Every hundred years a comet passes over the Mushroom Kingdom and rains down magical stars and stardust. Princess Peach invites Mario to her castle to join in the festivities and receive a special gift. As the citizens of the kingdom are celebrating the centennial event, Bowser attacks the Toads with his airships and freezes them in crystals. He "invites" Peach to the creation of his new galaxy and warps into space with her castle to the center of the universe. When Mario tries to save her, a Magikoopa throws a spell at Mario and sends him to a small planetoid where he finds bunnies and sets off to find a Grand star. Afterward, Mario meets Rosalina and her observatory. Mario then must collect a number of stars to power the observatory up so she could take Mario to the Center of the Universe to Fight Bowser and rescue Peach. After Mario collects enough stars he does go there and fights Bowser and wins. Afterward, he rescues Peach  and leaves the area. But, the star Bowser was in turns into a black hole and sucks up all the Lumas. Rosalina states that the universe is an endless cycle and that new galaxies will form.   Later, Mario awakens back at Earth with everyone he met. (except the Lumas and Rosalina.) Mario looks up and sees a new galaxy has formed and Mario shouts, " Welcome! Welcome, new galaxies!" Rosalina leaves and says, "I'll be watching you from the stars." This marks the end of Mario's latest adventure.

3 years AT64: This is the time Mario is currently in. he has fought in Brawl and played Baseball with his friends. He awaits his next big adventure.

• Wario was one of the lowest classes in Nintendo Monopoly, along with Waluigi. He replaced Baltic Avenue, and cost $60.
• The Mario Party 3 instruction booklet, claims that Wario's favorite item is the Dueling Glove.
• His name is a mix of "Mario" and "warui", which is Japanese for "bad".

• In The Super Mario Bros. • The unseen character Dark Dirk from Valiant's Nintendo Comics System imprint may resemble Waluigi; as Dark Dirk is the apparent doppelgänger of Dirk Drain-Head, a character nearly identical to Luigi.
• Waluigi was featured as a recurring character in Wario's Warehouse, a series of articles on the Nintendo of Europe website dealing with various games on Nintendo platforms (not necessarily games with Nintendo characters).
• Waluigi was one of the Mario series characters chosen to appear as spaces in the board game Nintendo Monopoly. Waluigi was the least expensive character to purchase, and as such he was also one of the least profitable characters. The cost to purchase him was $60.
• Waluigi is the only human, commonly playable in spin-offs, that does not have an infant form.
• Despite being Wario's partner in many spin-offs, Waluigi has yet to make an actual appearance in the WarioWare series or any Wario series titles.

Sonic the Hedgehog (ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグ, Sonikku za Hejjihoggu) is a supersonic hedgehog that can run at faster than the speed of sound (hence the name Sonic) and loves adventure. He acknowledges the fact that our Earth is just as cool and blue as he is. He is 15 years old, stands at 100 centimeters (3 ft 3 in), weighs 35 kilograms (77 lbs) and was born on Christmas Island. Artist Naoto Ōshima, designer Hirokazu Yasuhara and programmer Yuji Naka are generally credited with the creation of the character, a blue-and-peach-skinned, green-eyed 15-year-old anthropomorphic African pygmy hedgehog, who has the ability to run faster than Mach 1 and the ability curl up into a ball, primarily to attack enemies. This is a major part of the gameplay of the series.

In the Sonic the hedgehog comic book written by Archie Sonic receives a much more in depth life. For instance Sonic has been seen fighting Knuckles countless times, though they never truly finish a fight. He has also been in a relationship with Princess Sally Acorn, and Fiona Fox. Though Amy Rose is still madly in love with him, and there was a second fan girl, Mina Mongoose. Because the comics can give so much more depth he has met far more people and been around the world and back. He is the leader of the Knothole Freedom Fighters, the main section of Freedom Fighters around the world because they are the ones who fight Eggman directly, the rest are only fighting his minions. Trivia:

• In Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, you can get into a romantic subplot with Amy depending on what you choose to say to her. She'll ask you for a moment (if you treated her nicely in nearly or all comments) and then you'll be alone with her. She'll ask you if you like her back. You can either break her heart, or tell her that you love her and care for her the same way she does. If you ask her about Dexter, she'll reveal that Dexter is a figment of her imagination, just to make Sonic jealous, to which Sonic replies "Imagine that."
• In the March 2005 edition of the Disney Adventures Magazine of the last question of the top ten gaming mysteries, it says "Gaming Mystery" #10: Why won't Sonic confess his love to Amy Rose? Well to get the answer to this pressing question we went straight to Team Sonic headquarters. This is what they said, 'Although Sonic is clearly interested in her, Sonic has always been too shy to declare his feelings.' Shy? Could have fooled us!".
• According to the Archie comics, Sonic's middle name is Maurice. His full real name is revealed to be Olgilvie Maurice Hedgehog. However, it has been confirmed by the writers that this is only true in the comics' continuity, and that, by birth, his actual name is Sonic (but to be formal, he is known as Sonic the Hedgehog).
• There is a hedgehog genome named Sonic hedgehog.

Approx. 50 Years BTA: Shadow the Hedgehog is created by Gerald Robotnik. Maria dies on the Space Colony Ark. The colony is shut down.

Aprox. 44 Years BTA: Eggman is Born at Mega Central.

Amy Rose is captured by Eggman and Eggman makes Metal Sonic.Now, Sonic must gather the Time Stones before Dr. Robotnik can, defeat Robotnik and Metal Sonic, and save Amy Rose.

Approx 3 Years BTA:  At the end of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the evil Dr. Ivo Robotnik had his Death Egg downed from orbit by the heroes, Sonic the Hedgehog and his companion Miles "Tails" Prower. Having not been completely destroyed, after all, the Death Egg has crash-landed on Angel Island. This island has special properties - not least the ability to float - which it gets from the magical jewel called the Master Emerald. When Dr. Robotnik learns of the Master Emerald, an all powerful jewel upon which the Chaos Emeralds base their powers, he tries to steal it to repair his Death Egg. Of course, Sonic and Tails have to put a stop to this, collecting Chaos Emeralds as they go before Dr. Robotnik does. Unfortunately, Dr. Robotnik has tricked the guardian of the Master Emerald, an echidna named Knuckles, into thinking that Sonic and Tails are the thieves, so he tries his best to stop them.

Approx 2 Years BTA: Sonic & Knuckles carries on from where Sonic the Hedgehog 3 left off. At the end of Sonic 3, after Dr. Robotnik's defeat at Launch Base, the rebuilt Death Egg fell back onto Angel Island and crashed on top of Lava Reef's volcano (retconning the ending of Sonic 3, in which the Death Egg is destroyed). Now the evil doctor attempts once again to repair the Death Egg, this time by trying to use the Master Emerald to fuel its engines. This all-powerful jewel, upon which the Chaos Emeralds base their powers, is guarded by Knuckles. Dr. Robotnik was able to fool the echidna into working for him and against Sonic. In Hidden Palace, he betrays Knuckles in order to obtain the Master Emerald. Knuckles then realizes that Dr. Robotnik has been playing him all along. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles then reluctantly work together in order to stop Robotnik and save Angel Island.

0 Years BTA: The events of Sonic Adventure Occur. Millenia ago, the Chaos and Master Emeralds were bestowed upon the planet, and kept at an altar just outside the territory of the Knuckles Clan, a society of echidnas. When the clan's last chief, Pachacamac, wanted to expand their territory, he turned to the emeralds to defeat the rival Nocturnus Clan. However, his greed caused the enraged Chaos, guardian of the emeralds, to destroy all but one of the echidnas. This one, Tikal, the daughter of Pachacamac, sealed herself away in the emerald with Chaos, and the magic caused the area surrounding the shrine to become Angel Island, the continent in the sky. In the present day, Dr. Eggman learns of the legend surrounding Chaos. Believing it to be true, he seeks out the Master Emerald and shatters it, freeing Chaos in the process. Eggman's goal is to control Chaos, and use its destructive powers to collect the Chaos Emeralds and conquer the city and turn it into "Robotnik Land." To help him, he has created the E-series robots. When Sonic the Hedgehog learns of Eggman's plans, he and his friends spring in to action to stop Eggman and they start another journey for the Chaos Emeralds. Later, when all the chaos emeralds are together. Sonic turns into super Sonic and fights perfect chaos. Who is trying to destroy everything.

1/2 Year ATA: The events of Sonic Adventure 2 Occur. Shadow is released from deep sleep. Rouge appears. The Hero and Dark stories take place. The Last Story: The Eclipse Cannon never fires. Something happens. They then figure out the ARK is heading towards earth. So everyone works together to stop the ark from flying into earth. Shadow defeats the Bio Lizards. But, it is still alive and returns as the Final Hazard. At this point, Shadow and Sonic transform into their super forms and defeat the beast and they warp the ARK back into space. Shadow is lost though. Everyone returns home.

1 year ATA: Sonic Heroes Events occur. Metal Sonic is defeated by the four teams.

1 year ATA: Shadow the Hedgehog's Events Occur.

1 1/2 Years ATA: Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) Events Occur. Elise is captured. Silver arrives in our time. Mephiles appears. Mephiles kills Sonic. Sonic Dies but is revived. sonic, Shadow, and Silver transform into their Super Forms and defeat Mephiles.

2 Years ATA: Sonic fights Eggman but loses, he is turned into a werehog. The World is split into pieces. Sonic meets Light Gaia (Chip) and he travels the world to restore the emeralds power. Dark Gaia is defeated in the end. Now, Sonic awaits his next adventure.

Approx. 5-150 Years ATA: The End of the World Occurs (might happen, but might not exist anymore since Sonic stopped Mephiles.)

Approx. 186 Years ATA: Silver is born to unknown people.  Blaze is born too**

Approx. 200 Years ATA: Silver fights Iblis and goes into the past. Sonic arrives into this time in Crisis City.Then he goes back into the past. Silver returns to the future, stops Iblis and Blaze is sent to another dimension.

*Note the years on this are an approximate or estimation. the true times might not be known between the games.

** Blaze is said to be 14, but she exists in Sonic Rush Adventure, which happens in an alternate world, but she is also in the future. Some conclude that she was born in Sonic's Time in her world, after years passed she died, and might have been re-incarnated in the future. Others say she was born in the future, and since Sonic stopped Mephiles. Blaze did no longer exist in the future, but since the past was changed, Blaze lives in what now is the levels of Sonic Rush Adventure. Knux's explanation: Blaze's world is linked with Sonic's world, which is how the events of Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure occured. However the Chaos Force can warp TIME and reality, so when Sonic's world was in peril in the future Blaze was transported there, time was not an issue.

Miles Prower, better known by his nickname Tails, (Pronounced in Japan; Mairusu "Tails" Pauaa マイルス・テイルス・パウアー) is a character in the Sonic the Hedgehog series of video games, comics, and animated series released by Sega. The name "Miles Prower" is a pun on "miles per hour", a reference to the famed speed of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an 8-year-old orange-golden-yellow, anthropomorphic fox with two tails (similar to the mythological kitsune), hence the nickname. He is known to be Sonic's sidekick and a mechanist. He is able to use his two tails to propel himself into the air like a helicopter for a limited time. His debut was in October 16, 1992, introduced in 8-bit version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2; the 16-bit version was released that November.

Knuckles the Echidna (ナックルズ・ザ・エキドゥナ, Nakkurusu za Ekiduna) Knuckles (or "Knux" for short) is a red 16-year-old anthropomorphic echidna, who is both is physically powerful and highly resilient. He has a white crescent birthmark on his chest. The character is both a friend and a rival to Sonic. Knuckles' name is derived from the four knuckles, two on each hand, which are actually sharp spikes. According to official Sonic Team polls, Knuckles is the fourth most popular character in the series. His first game appearance was in Sonic the Hedgehog 3, released on February 2, 1994 for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. He was described as being 15 years old when he made his debut, but since Sonic Adventure, he is now given the age of 16. Knuckles has two spikes or claws on each hand, and his dominant trait is his strength. He can also glide by trapping air under his dreadlocks, and is very skilled at a wide variety of martial art forms.

Trivia:

• Knuckles was originally supposed to be green, which likely led to his temporary color change in the Archie Comics.
• Knuckles' white birthmark (the symbol of a guardian) was inspired by the swoosh symbol by Nike.
• Knuckles was originally going to be Jamaican, and speak with a Jamaican accent.
• Knuckles has been tricked by Eggman/Ivo Robotnik a total of 6 times in the gaming universe alone.
• Some believe Knuckles is a descendant of Tikal, though this is unlikely because Tikal had sealed herself in the Master Emerald, and no evidence has been used to support the idea that she had children. Unless of course if she had a brother or a sister, who was one of the few who survived the attack of Chaos on the tribe after Tikal sealed Chaos and herself inside the Master Emerald, meaning that Knuckles may just be Tikal's nephew. Knux: For those of us that have read Archie comics, this can be proven completely false. There are two pieces of evidence. 1) Tikal is of the Knuckles clan, named because they were the only in game echidna's and they looked like Knuckles. But Knuckles descends from inhabitants of Echidnaopolis. 2) In the comics a complete timeline of Knuckles' ancestors is given. Pachacamac and Tikal are not listed.
  
• In Sonic 3 & Knuckles, finishing the game with only the Chaos Emeralds leaves a picture of the character's Super form on the Game Select screen. If the game is completed with Knuckles, an image of Super Knuckles is shown. In this image, he appears to be the same color as Knuckles but with a bright purple aura. A similar effect was used in episode 3 of Sonic X.
• In the Genesis games he is playable in, the letters K.T.E. are by his life icon, instead of "Knuckles". This is likely because the name is much longer than "Sonic" or "Miles" and "Tails".
• Other than Amy, Knuckles was the only one who was particularly upset about Sonic's death in Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. This is demonstrated when he shouts "SONIC!" He is also the only one seen celebrating when Sonic comes back to life, the others are staring, Knuckles is cheering in the background.
• Knuckles' eye color has varied in the Sonic series, changing from blue to purple. In Sonic Battle, he is actually portrayed with both eye colors(blue for the fighting and purple for the cutscenes.)
• In episode 24 of Sonic X (the episode sonic cannot stop running) Sonic hands Knuckles a fish as he runs by. Knuckles walks to the desert post to talk to everyone. He is holding the fish and he has fingers in one scene.

Amy Rose (エミー・ローズ, Emī Rōzu), once known as Rosy the Rascal, is a character who appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Cream the Rabbit (クリーム・ザ・ラビット Kuriimu za Rabitto) (also known as Cream Yamato in Japan) is a rabbit in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe. Cream is a princess-like figure; she is polite, follows manners (and never forgets them) and does what she is told. She’s very friendly and tries to be close to everyone she meets. She is brave as well, usually not afraid to go out on an adventure. She’s a bit naive however, and doesn’t always see things right away, since she’s still very young.

• Cream and Cheese's name is a reference to cream cheese.

Rouge the Bat (ルージュ・ザ・バット, Rūju za Batto) is a video game character who is a determined treasure hunter and part-time government agent who plans to make all the gems and treasures of the world hers. She made her debut in Sonic Adventure 2 and has been featured in the Sonic the Hedgehog console games, along with two hand-held games since. She is considered to be the sex symbol of the series. In seven of the ten games she has appeared in to date, Rouge a skintight black body suit with a large pink heart-shaped breast plate, long white gloves, and white thigh-high boots with pink hearts on the toes. E-123 Omega (オメガ, Omega), or, technically, E-123 Ω, is a fictional robot from the Sonic the Hedgehog video game universe, first appearing as a fully playable character in the multiplatform game Sonic Heroes, which was first released in Japan on December 30th, 2003. Omega was created by Takashi Iizuka and designed and modeled by Nobuhiko Honda at Sonic Team USA. He bears a strong resemblance to another character in the series, E-102 Gamma (a possible design inspiration), who is part of the same robotics production line in the series. In the games, he was created by Doctor Eggman, and is out to destroy him due to lack of respect and want for revenge. Omega is 150cm tall (4ft 11in) and weighs a hefty 2712.77lbs making him the heaviest character in the Sonic series.

Mighty the Armadillo (also known as Maiti za Arumajiro in Japan) is a character in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe. His character designer is Manabu Kusunoki. Mighty is an explorer and a long time acquaintance of Sonic the Hedgehog, and he first appeared in SegaSonic the Hedgehog where he is voiced by Yusuke Numata.

Trivia:

• It has been rumored that the reason Mighty no longer appeared in games was because his creator left Sega and took the rights to use the character with him. However, this rumor has been proven to be a hoax, as Sega of Japan recently had a poll regarding popular characters, with Mighty the Armadillo finishing in 10th place. Sega commented that this means a possible return for Mighty, which proves the rumor to be invalid. Adding to this, Mighty's picture is unlockable in Sonic Gems Collection. It is a possibility that Mighty was cut from the games merely so the Chaotix could fit into the three person team arrangement of Sonic Heroes, the first game in many years to include the Chaotix.

• In the prototype of Knuckles Chaotix, dubbed in the thought-to-be ROM form as "Sonic Crackers", Sonic the Hedgehog was originally playable along with Miles "Tails" Prower. Sonic's movements and standing animations are exactly the same as Mighty's, thus leading to the belief that Sonic was taken out of Knuckles Chaotix fairly late in game production and got replaced by Mighty.

• If Mighty falls from a high location in SegaSonic the Hedgehog, his shell will comically stay in the air for a few seconds. He is completely black underneath.

• Mighty was originally considered to be Sega's mascot but was replaced by Sonic. Mighty and Sonic are very similar because they both have spin attacks, and Mighty's sprite in Knuckles Chaotix is an edited version of Sonic's sprite from Sonic 2.

• Mighty is often seen as a Sonic clone character despite being an original model with three backups for this: 1) He and Sonic share the exact same movesets and personalities. 2) He and Shadow not only share similar moves, but also color schemes. 3) Danny's shoes are exactly like his, possibly as a reference.

• Even though he was possibly cut from Team Chaotix for the purpose of Sonic Heroes, he has not been featured in a game with them since Knuckles Chaotix, aside from Sonic Gems Collection.

Jet the Hawk (ジェット・ザ・ホーク, Jetto za Hōku) is the 14-year-old hawk leader of the Babylon Rogues, and is often nicknamed the "Legendary Wind Master" due to his mastery of Extreme Gear. He's Sonic's most potent rival in Sonic Riders, and he uses a Type-J board that allows him to reach high speeds. Jet also possesses a mysterious "control box", passed down from his ancestors, that is said to awaken the fabled Babylon Garden. Only the power of the Chaos Emeralds can activate its fabled power. Jet advances to the finals of the EX World Grand Prix and unfairly wins after Wave detonates an explosive placed on the bottom of Sonic's board near the end of the race. Again, he races against Sonic after Doctor Eggman steals the control box in order to steal the ancient treasure of Babylon. This time, he is defeated fairly. Sonic, who retrieved the box from Eggman, willingly hands it to Jet, as he is not intending to use it.

Trivia:

Gamma is notably the first prominent character in the Sonic game series to die onscreen. This is often considered by fans to be the most poignant moment in the series, (which can be considered somewhat ironic, seeing as it is basically a dramatised enactment of an average Badnik death).
Within Gamma's story arc, he defeats Sonic, making him the first of Eggman's robots to canonically defeat Sonic in battle. This is succeeded only by Omega, though a team battle. This may be debunked by the fact that most Sonic's, Tails, and Amy's stories show Gamma losing somewhat pathetically to Sonic, however.
Artwork of E-102Γ is also presented in the Sonic compilations and as cards in Sonic Rivals.
An odd effect takes place in Gamma's adventure mode in Sonic Adventure upon completing his story, creating a consistent night-time effect in the Adventure Fields. This happens also in Sonic Adventure DX, but resets upon entering Mission Mode.
In the Gimme Shelter hub world in Sonic Battle, other pieces of the E-Series can be seen in production, with a notable unknown green E-Series robot. It's official name and relation to Gamma are unknown.
If E-123 Omega receives an E-Rank in Sonic Heroes, he will reference his older brothers, proclaiming "I couldn't even beat Gamma or Beta."
When Sonic Heroes was being released, many thought that Gamma was on Team Dark, however it was actually Omega.
In Sonic DX: Director's Cut, if you repeatedly press a while on the ground, Gamma will look like he's 'stabbing' himself.
Many view Gamma as one of the more emotional character in Sonic continuties, despite being a robot
Gamma is the only member of the original E-100's that has one gun arm and one grabbing arm. The others all have two gun arms.
Gamma is the only character of Sonic Adventure to have a theme without lyrics.
