Online Hackers Getting Banned

Elite Master Dimentio the Jester Posted by Elite Master Dimentio the Jester at 11:39 PM on October 06, 2009 Comments comments (1)

Apparently, Nintendo has started to ban online hackers a while back ago. If you ever get error code 20102, then that means Nintendo has banned your entire Wii system from connecting to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection of Gaming. Several reports claim that teh Nintendo Channel can detect your hacks, or that some Nintendo staff play online, and find your IP or Mac Address using their special tools. So basically Nintendo is monitoring public Wi-fi Matches. Once they find out you hack, they block you forever, unless you get a bypass code. If you have been a victim of being banned online forever, then contact me for a bypass code. LOL

Wii Version 4.2 Released! Homebrewers BEWARE!

Elite Master Dimentio the Jester Posted by Elite Master Dimentio the Jester at 01:18 AM on October 01, 2009 Comments comments (0)

Version 4.2 of the System Menu was released on September 28, 2009.

Changes

Deletes the Homebrew Channel and DVDX.  -not too bad, you can re-install it with a newer bootmii installer.

Now uses IOS70. -VERY Bad for super-hackers

Wii Shop Channel updated. Use WiiSCU or Wii Shop and IOS61 installer to update the shop channel. -idk, lol.

Most of the IOS's have been updated or stubbed. -VERY bad for super hackers

Updates your boot2 to boot2v4, overwriting BootMii/boot2. -bad for brick-recovery

Other Changes:

SGC-X's Downloadable hack: "Bannerbomb", will not work anymore with this update.

You will need to download "Indiana Pwns" or "Smash Stack" from another site.

To solve the Bootmii problem, update via the newest hackmii installer found at wiibrew.org

To solve cIOS problems (SUPER-HACKING) DO NOT UPDATE! WANINKOKO QUIT THE WII! REMEMBER?!?!?

DVDX problems: Use the hackmii installer (NEWEST)

Homebrew Channel: Ditto (as above)

Preloader: Um...No workaround yet, in fact dont use it with 4.0, it bricked my Wii. LOL

Issues

According to bushing, "The [boot 2 update] code [from Ninty] is so buggy that we decided to write our own for the HackMii installer." There are some people who are bricking their Wii as a result of doing a standard update, whether or not they had hacks before they updated. It is therefore highly recommended that you at the very least do not upgrade through Nintendo.

DO NOT UPDATE IF YOU WISH TO HACK IN ANY WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (if you update, some of sgc-x's hacking tools will not work)

Project Needlemouse 2010

Sega announce new Sonic the Hedgehog

'Project Needlemouse' promises a return to Sonic’s side-scrolling roots

By Tom Hoggins

Published: 3:07PM BST 10 Sep 2009

The game, codenamed Project Needlemouse, will bring a high-definition, 2D version of Sonic, Sega's hedgehog mascot, to games consoles.

"Old-school Sonic fans have long asked to see Sonic return to a more 2D style of gameplay," Sega spokesman Ken Balough told the video game website Gamespot. "Many liked the daytime stages in Sonic Unleashed, but wanted to see a game that plays purely similar to the early games of the Genesis [Mega Drive in the UK]. Project Needlemouse is that critical first step that brings Sonic back to his 2D roots."

Sonic the Hedgehog voted favourite video game star Sega’s famous blue mascot has suffered from the transition to three dimensions, with the majority of his recent games receiving a critical mauling, with detractors bemoaning the addition of needless gimmicks. Despite this, the spiky mammal’s appeal has remained huge across the globe, with many fans hoping for a return to the side-scrolling adventures of the 1990s.

Sega UK confirmed that Project Needlemouse was currently in development and issued a teaser trailer showing a blue blur collecting Sonic’s iconic gold rings. There is also a website which features a succession of recognisable stage architecture.

Which platform Project Needlemouse will appear on has yet to be announced, but with Balough stating that the game will be in high-definition, it seems certain that Xbox 360 and PS3 owners will be able to play the game when it arrives in 2010.

The filename of the teaser video may also offer a clue to the game’s distribution. Titled SonicDL, the name may suggest that when the game launches it will be available as a digital download, possibly through Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network.

New Facebook Feature on DSI!

Jimbster GO TO WWW.EMAD.CO.NR Posted by Jimbster GO TO WWW.EMAD.CO.NR at 07:47 AM on August 03, 2009 Comments comments (3)

Nintendo announced that a new Facebook sharing feature will be coming to the Nintendo DSi today. A system update for the Nintendo DSi will be released today after 5pm PST. After downloading the System Update (from the DSi Menu's "System Settings" and "System Update" section), you'll be able to share your pictures taken on the Nintendo DSi through your Facebook account.

Here are the details from Nintendo on the Facebook Photo integration:

"Starting today, Nintendo DSi™ owners have even more ways to share their experiences with friends and family. Using an Internet-connected Nintendo DSi system and the Nintendo DSi Camera application, Facebook members can take pictures with either of the system's two cameras and upload their photos directly to their Facebook profile. This function will be available after 5 p.m. Pacific with a free downloadable system update.

While reviewing pictures they've stored in the Nintendo DSi Camera album, which includes photos taken by users and manipulated using the built-in interactive lenses, users can simply tap the Facebook icon on the system's touch screen to instantly transmit photos to the user's Facebook profile. The user's system must be configured to a wireless broadband Internet connection for the transmission of photos.

"Facebook and Nintendo DSi build on the trend of personalization that is so important to consumers," said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. "We're giving people the tools to express themselves in creative new ways and show off the results to their friends and family on Facebook."

The Nintendo DSi is currently available in Matte Black and Matte Blue. See more on the Nintendo DSi here.

The Pirate Bay in court, and has been bought!

Elite Master Dimentio the Jester Posted by Elite Master Dimentio the Jester at 08:36 PM on August 02, 2009 Comments comments (0)

It appears that the infamous site, The Pirate Bay, has been bought out by another Swedish company called  Global Gaming Factory X AB. This company bought the site for over 8 million dollars. The prosecutors are going to "transform" the site into a piece of crap legal torrent site. And also, in order to download, you must pay money. Goodbye old pirates... you'll never be forgotten, but that's why torrentreactor and other sites are out there!

Upcoming Games UPDATE!

From the Conduit to Mario and Luigi RPG 3. Tons of new games will be coming out this year, and I'll be telling you about some! First of All, The Conduit, A FPS with intense graphics never before seen on the Wii Console, it will be comparable with the other systems and will support wii speak while playing online with 11 other players. It will come out soon this summer! Mario and Luigi RPG 3 ha been out in Japan for a while, which means it will be released here soon, it was projected to be out this Spring (right now) buit hasn't yet, so it might come out during the summer break (for the Northern Hemisphere, sorry Australians, for you guys its Winter). Also, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics winter Games will be better than you think. Sega finally is letting Mario into the Universe of Sonic. According to my research, there will be some sort of RPG mode in the Olympics Games, where Mario and Sonic must work together to pass missions and fight bosses (?)!!! Could this be true?! Sure sounds like it. According to Nintendo Power, Sega finally has more than 100 people working on the game, so tehy have enough for DS and Wii. So that means, the games for the two systems will be two different experiences and will be WAY more enjoyable! Now that I have researched this more throughly... I may want to buy it now... Also, RedSteel 2 is to come out soon, with a steady beat of 60 frames per second, and even more guns and weapons, it sounds good to those it appeals to. Tons of Wiiware and DSiWare are on there way too! So look out for new games coming out soon! -Dimentio

Arceus: to a Conquering Spacetime

This is Nintendo's latest movie, or pokemon's latest movie. It is Called Arceus: to a conquering Spacetime. The name will change once it comes here, but this is its Japanese translation. It is set to come out in July 18, 2009 in Japan, and will be released here in America by early 2010. Arceus will finally be revelaed to the "public" and those stupid japanese retards who see the movie at a theatre will get a free arceus from wireless communications. (As Always). And here it will be shown on TV on Cartoon Network, probably on a Friday at approx. 8 pm. That is my prediction, because it always airs like that, that is how it aired with the Sky Warrior and the rise of Darkrai. Some ppl are excited to finally see Arceus in action. And we hope Nintendo makes some cash. to see a trailer look it up on youtube. "Arceus: To a conquering spacetime Trailer" although i t may be in japanese.

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

The cel-shaded art style from Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass returns in Spirit Tracks. Although Nintendo has not confirmed where this falls in the Zelda timeline, it appears as though this is a sequel to Phantom Hourglass. If true, this would be the first time a Zelda storyline has continued for three straight games. We'll have to wait for Nintendo to fill us in on the plot details, but at the very least, this is an aesthetical sequel that seems to be every bit as charming as the games that preceded it. To see a trailer look up "Spirit Tracks Trailer" on youtube.

King of Norway Denies a kid's request to change name to Sonic.

"Norway's King Harald V stepped in recently when a six-year-old boy sought to change his name to "Sonic X."As reported by Gamezine, the lad, whose given name is Christer, wrote to the King with his request:Sadly, the King could not change Christer's name, but not because the change would result in a child running around with a ridiculous video game character's title. No, the request was rejected for the sole reason that at six-years-old, Christer was not old enough to make such a decision. Thus, the boy must contact King Harald V in twelve years time once he's turned 18. Christer admitted that he was disappointed... Sega is apparently sending the lad some Sonic-themed swag to ease his disappointment." -From GamePolitics (4/26/09)

Hey Wii, meet the crappier: Vii!

The Chinese have done it again, crappy video game products sold in flea markets and dolalr stores always annoy you huh? or those wanna-be DS or PSPs that cost 10 bucks? Yep, all those annoy you huh? and then you plug em in, turn them on, and it has 8-bit graphics! Well, today, there is one really ripped off console made by China, and its called the Vii! Unlike most wanna-be cheap consoles, this one was actually really popular in china. The company did make lots of money by selling this ripp-off of the wii. After the company successfully sold some units they remodeled it.

And the remote is also a rip-off of the wii's! WTF?! these guys are so retarded, if it ever comes to sell here, they will be sued! Even the games are copied, Vii Sports!! ETF?! There is this guy named Ashens on youtube that reviews these types of games and critizes them you should check it out. (4/3/09)

The Sonic Team? & Sonic's Death?

So.....hello Prope. To those who want to know where Yuji Naka and most of the ORIGINAL Sonic Team are...they are here. In Prope. Prope is a japanese video game company founded by Yuji Naka in 2006 after his departure of the Sonic Team in 2006. On Sonic's 15th anniversary year...wierd huh? Anyways.... when Naka left, he took probably the rest of the remaining original Sonic Team Members with him(as you know Naoto Oshima left over 6 years before that). Now Sonic Team is run by other people, not the original Sonic Team members. You may have noticed the ratings on the sonic games from 10 to 9 to 10 in the original games. After Oshima left they made Adventure 1. which got a 9 or so. Then Adventure 2 got an 8/10. Afterwards they dropped as far as 4/10! Then Unleashed made some sort of small comeback. But then Sonic and the Black Knight got 3/10 from some reviews. The worst to date. According to oral witness accounts, Yuji Naka practically wants Sonic dead. He said it is enough of an embarassment to him and the original creators. With al the characters, comics, and wierd franchises he prefers sonic dead. Sonic was originally created to compete with the Legendary Mario from Nintendo (as we all know) but now its just utter chaos, as Mario is still healthy and alive and has been for a tad bit over 28 years now, Sonic is struggling with his new team. Could Sonic keep it up for more? Could Sonic live up until 2012? Many highly doubt Sonic will live past 2012, since the games are getting low scores and SEGA won't be making a new systems. But, we MAY all be wrong, maybe Sonic will make a comeback, maybe not. Even though you True Blue's out there still love your hedgehog friend, that may not be enough. The death of our blue friend will be tragic for New Age Sonic Fans, and will be a happy scratch on the back for Mario fanatics getting critized for Mario being nothing. Check out http://prope.sega.jp/ for what Yuji Naka is up to...

Sonic and the Black Knight released!

Sonic and the Black Knight is now title within the Sonic the Hedgehog series, to be released exclusively on Wii as the second entry in the Sonic Storybook series, following on from Sonic and the Secret Rings. The game is directed by Tetsu Katano, who was the Lead Programmer of the Sonic Adventure titles and Sonic Heroes.Set in the world of King Arthur, the game combines Sonic's trademark speed with a new swordfighting system, making use of the Wii Remote's motion-sensing functionality. It came out today! ( March 3rd, 2009!) yay! I hope it is worth buying it now! If it isn't I'll wait until its like 30 bucks. Gameplay for Sonic and the Black Knight differs from traditional games in the Sonic series by mixing in the new element of swordplay, along with the traditional Sonic platforming and speed. Swordplay is implemented through the Wii Remote.

Gameplay will be more similar to Sonic Unleashed than Sonic and the Secret Rings; Sonic's movement will be controlled with the analog stick, and gameplay will mainly be 3D, but occasionally the camera will shift to a side-scrolling perspective for traditional 2D gameplay.Swordplay will be implemented so that players can slice through enemies without slowing down, but when faced with more formidable enemies, players will engage in advanced swordplay, able to thrust, parry, and perform other maneuvers. The sword will not be used just for combat; players may thrust it through a wall while falling to slow their descent. The stages will feature civilians that the player can choose to help or smite; these actions and the player's deeds will be judged at the end of each stage, updating the player's "knight ranking" accordingly., which is similar to the 2005 game, Shadow the Hedgehog. By helping out citizens, players will be able to purchase new items from them, such as gauntlets, magical tomes, and new swords. There will be about 200 items in the game, some of which can be gained by opening treasure chests in the stages. An online mode will allow treasures to be traded. ( some info from wikipedia.org)

DSi to come out April 5th!

Nintendo pioneered hand-held entertainment in the ’80s and made it fully mobile with the Game Boy video game system. Now, Nintendo is transforming the way people access, experience, create and share content with the new Nintendo DSi system, the third iteration of the world’s best-selling portable video game system. Nintendo DSi launches in the United States on April 5, 2009, at an MSRP of $169.99. The colors available at launch will be Blue and Black.

"Ever since the arrival of the first Game Boy, consumers worldwide have turned to Nintendo for their portable gaming," said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “Nintendo DSi builds on Nintendo’s commitment to bringing fun and creative entertainment to everyone, and will allow consumers to personalize and share their very own experiences.”

Some features that will be built into the system and ready to enjoy upon purchase include the Nintendo DSi Camera, Nintendo DSi Sound and Nintendo DSi Shop. The most noticeable feature of the slim Nintendo DSi system is its two cameras – one camera is on the external body, and the second one points at the user when the device is flipped open. As the first truly interactive digital camera in a video game system with 10 different interactive “lenses” that can manipulate your photos, the Nintendo DSi Camera offers an easy way to take and share your photos with family and friends. The cameras also present people with unprecedented ways to interact with their games while giving developers a new tool to devise creative games and experiences. If the touch screen gave Nintendo DS a sense of feel and the microphone allowed it to hear, the two cameras give Nintendo DSi the sense of sight.

Another enhanced feature is the Nintendo DSi Sound application, which serves as both an interactive voice recorder and music player that allows users to play with their music while they listen to it. Users can access different audio filters or control the pitch and speed of recorded voice or music files to alter voices or change the tempo of a song. The mic is located between the two screens when the device is flipped open, and there is also a stereo headphone output that lets users listen to music saved on an SD card, even with the screen shut.

In the world of software, Nintendo DSi will be the platform for the most relevant and fun on-the-go games and applications. The Nintendo DSiWare application will populate Nintendo DSi with software that can be downloaded using Nintendo DSi Points directly to the portable system, just as WiiWare has with Nintendo’s Wii console. Developers big and small are invited to create software that makes use of the properties and functions of the hardware. Nintendo DSiWare games and applications will be available at a range of values, starting at 200 points.

In addition to downloadable games, Nintendo DSi is able to play games made specifically for the system and sold at retail. The system can also play most Nintendo DS™ games, and will have access to a library of more than 850 titles originally made for that system.

Also on April 5, a new Nintendo DS game, Rhythm Heaven, will join this roster of games available for both Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DS owners in the United States. Having sold more than 1.6 million copies since its July 2008 launch in Japan and still increasing sales today, this infectious game challenges players to tap and slide the stylus on the touch screen in time to original music created by legendary Japanese pop-star producer TSUNKU♂. Simple gestures with the stylus combined with fun music and quirky visuals make Rhythm Heaven a completely unique musical experience for players of all ages. Two games are near!

Mario & Luigi RPG 3 (tentative title, Japanese Mario & Luigi RPG 3!!!) is the upcoming third title in the Mario & Luigi series, for the Nintendo DS. It was confirmed on October 2 at the Fall 2008 Nintendo Conference, and was released on February 11, 2009 in Japan. Unlike Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time for the Nintendo DS, this game will make greater use of the DS's touch controls and microphone. for more info! This game is to come out right before summer or late spring.

On the other hand, a sequel to Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games is coming out, this time based on the winter olympics. The first one let me down personally, but who knows if this one shall suck or be wonderful, but I'm still mad that it isn't an adventure game...This is the second collaboration with Nintendo and Sega under license from the International Olympic Committee (to correspond with the Vancouver Winter Olympics, scheduled for 2010). The game itself will feature the hosting cities of the games, Vancouver and Whistler. Like their previous installment, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games will be developed and released for both the Wii and DS in late 2009. Major details for this game are still currently unknown at this time, however it has been confirmed that the Wii version will use the Wii Remote controls, as well as the Wii Balance Board. Obama meets Sonic

On Wednesday, February 4th, 2009, President Barack Hussien Bin Bamin Fadhal Obama met with top-knotch superstar, Sonic the hedgehog. "I guess he is alright for a president, but i could be better." said Sonic the Hedgehog on Thursday, the day after the meeting of Obama. Obama gave a speech to Sonic about the meaning of the country and how he will destr.... I mean fix the economy. He will blow up China and make a base on the moon by the year 2012, he said. Sonic seemed surprised at this statement. So, Sonic asked him to make water-powered cars, but Obama refused and said, " No one cares about the F*cking future, as long as it doesn't affect me, I'm okay." Obama predicts to Sonic that the World will end on April 17th 2076, at 2: 44 PM with 51 seconds. After the meeting Obama left back to thw White House to sleep for more hours. (2/6/08)

Sega World Sydney Destroyed

The Sega World Sydney Park Building was demolished since no one was using it. It was demolished in late 2008. I know I'm kind of late for this news, but oh well. It opened up in March 1997 and it closed down in the year 2000. After it was shut down, the building was used as a furniture storage.

Are you Ready for 2009?

Are you ready for 2009? Ninetndo has some stuff up there sleeves, and so does Sega. 2009 might not look as promising as last year, but there will be some games coming out sooner or later. Wii Sports Resort, Pikmin 3, and much more. Below is a list of upcoming nintendo-published games.

2009: Wii Sports Resort, Punch Out Wii, Wii Play 2, Sonic and the Black Knight, Cosmic Walker, Spawn Smasher, Dynamic Slasher, Sin and Punishment 2, Line Attack Heroes, & Forever Blue 2 are all planned to be released in 2009. There are several games that are TBA (unknown date). They include Kirby Wii, Project HAMMER, and Pikmin 3. There are a few games not in development at all or have little development, Thse include a sequel to the Legend of Zelda, and a sequel to New Super Mario Bros., and Super Mario Galaxy. This will be the first time nintendo will make an actual Mario sequel to the same system. Below is a preview to Kirby Wii. (1/1/08)

Super Scourge Unleashed!

Our anti-hero, scourge. Is said to be turned into super scourge in an upcoming issue of the sonic comics. His fur will be purple with red eyes with black pupils and whites. This is is the cover for either 197 or 196. I'm not sure. But it appears sonic is defeated on the ground below. Read it when it comes out to find out what happened! This is not really video game news, its just..... wierd news or something. (12/29/08)

New Play Control!

In Japan, a series of Gamecube remakes for Wii shall be released this month and on...

Yep, it's true, Japan has done it again, they are making Wii remakes (not sequels) of some gamecube games. When i first saw this at Nintendo's Japanese Website(I can speak Japanese, remember?) i thought pikmin 3 was coming out soon! But I was wrong... It was part of a series of game remakes called New Play Control! (in japan). The confirmed games of New Play Control that'll come out here are Mario Power Tennis and Pikmin. They'll be released here in 2009.The Main Differences between the Gamecube versions and these are that the graphics will be improved, the controls will be altered for Wii use, and depending on the game, new levels and features will be added! I'm guessing it'll be released by disc due to the Wii's small memory of 512mb. to watcha video on Pikmin :New Play Control! click the link and click the button on top of the button in the lower-left corner.(it's in JAPANESE) Pikmin: New Play Control Preview12/19/08

If Unleashed dissapointed you Sonic and the Black Knight won't.

If Sonic Unleashed dissapointed you for how short it was, don't worry. Sonic and the Black Knight will come out in March 2009. Shadow and Knuckles are said to be playable. And it will be nothing like The Secret Rings. It will be a free-walk game. It will not be runnning without stops, according to my research. Of course it'll be onsale at 50 bucks. A Wii-exclusive game. Crush 40 will perform for the theme here again! It'll be part of the Sonic "Stroybook" Series. The Plots starts like this:A sorceress named Merlina summons Sonic to help free the mystical realm of King Arthur, where King Arthur has been corrupted and is now ruling the realm as the tyrannical Black Knight. Sonic's speed alone will not end Arthur's reign, so he must take up Calibur the Sword in order to save the kingdom. To watch the super cool preview(some stuff in Japanese) click on the link here: Black Knight Preview

Nintendo outsells Rivals for 2008!

According to my research the Wii has outsold the PS3 and the XBOX 360 this year! People favor the Wii over the other consoles that exist! And the Nintendo DS beat the PSP! Nintendo has done a great job so far! But can they keep it up? For 2008 the Wii has sold OVER 35 million systems! the 360 is behind with 22 million and the PS3 with 17 million. The DS has sold 85 million and the PSP has sold 41 million. Wii and DS win! And leave the competition in the dust. The Wii has a variety of games, but can it keep it up? 2009 looks kind of titled to us, as only Sonic and the Black Knight has been announced. The DS will still be alive though! tons of them are running around the world! Good job nintendo keep up the good work!

Luigi's Mansion For Wii and DS?

Sandwiched between Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess in the pantheon of Nintendo console launch titles, Luigi's Mansion pales in comparison. Although the Big N still sold two million copies of the game, it's frankly neither as revolutionary as Mario 64 nor as epic as Twilight Princess. Yet, IGN really does feel like Mansion is a franchise worth continuing and more specifically, enhancing -- a real possibility with the added power of the Wii console and more importantly, its unique controller. Not only that, but there's an opportunity for the publisher to simultaneously migrate the series to its handheld. Just as a port of Mario 64 launched DS, so could a portable version of Luigi's Mansion help sell DSi. Rumors state that they may be making a sequel to the Luigi's mansion series.

Nintendo officially unveils Nintendo DSi and online store, coming Nov 1 in Japan for $180

Even before Nintendo announced it, the DSi had been the talk of the town. According to our Japanese correspondent, the DSi will be 12 percent thinner, and will get rid of the GBA slot entirely. The DSi will also include two built-in cameras (one reportedly VGA resolution) and music playback. It will add an SD card slot and internal storage (we don't yet know how much) to enhance its multimedia capabilities. The screens are now slightly larger at 3.25 inches, photos can be synced to the Wii Photo Channel, and the unit will include a free browser application.

Nintendo is also launching the "DSi Shop" to sell content directly over Wi-Fi. Prices for the store, which are also tied into Wii Nintendo Points, will use 0, 200, 500 and 800-point tiers. Until March 2010, 1000 Nintendo points will come bundled with the device.

Nintendo is calling the DSi a "third platform," implying that it's not competing with the DS -- though as a history lesson, the DS was originally a "third platform" against the now-retired Game Boy Advance.

The DSi will launch November 1 in black and white colors. It will cost ¥189,000 (approx. US $178). We won't fault you for misreading this as "iDS," given the very iPod Touch-esque additions. This thing will be really awesome! I'll probably get one by chirstmas or February!

Sonic Unleashed

Sonic Unleashed, also known as Sonic World Adventure (ソニックワールドアドベンチャー, Sonikku Wārudo Adobenchā?) in Japan,[10] is an upcoming video game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series developed by Sonic Team Japan[11] and to be published by Sega for multiple platforms. The game follows Sonic the Hedgehog as he attempts to restore the world to normal after his nemesis, Doctor Eggman, splits the world's continents into pieces with a powerful new ray weapon and the power of the Chaos Emeralds, as well as his struggles with his new beast form generated by the corrupted Emeralds, Sonic the Werehog. Whilst incorporating Sonic's traditional platforming and trademark speed, the gameplay style for this game is notably different, focusing on 2D side-scrolling platform gameplay rendered with 3D visuals, as well as behind-the-back, third-person stages; gameplay seamlessly transitions between these two styles. The gameplay will be different in day and night. This game will be awesome when it comes out!( November 18,2008)

What About Pikmin 3?

Shigeru Miyamoto first hinted about the possibilities of a new Pikmin game in an IGN interview. "I certainly don't think we've seen the last of Pikmin," he said. "I definitely would like to do something with them, and I think the Wii interface in particular is very well suited to that franchise."[4] A later CNET interview reported that "For now, Miyamoto looks ahead to other projects for the Wii, mentioning his desire to continue the Pikmin series."[5]

A new Pikmin game was eventually confirmed at E3 2008 during Nintendo's developer roundtable, in which Miyamoto stated that his team were working on a new entry in the series.[6][7] However, details concerning gameplay and how far into development the game is were left unmentioned.[8] In an interview with Nintendo's Official Latin American Magizine, Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed that Pikmin 3 was on the Wii. He also stated that the Wii's controls were 'working well' with the game. It is currently unknown when it will come out. Probably in a long time since they haven't started making it.

Wii Failure??

Will the Wii make it through 2009 with good ratings and games? Alot of people doubt this. All the games we've really been wating for have come out already. Except for Pikmin 3, which will come out probably until or after 2010. Nintendo was mainly focused on Wii Musci and Animal Crossing and some other junk games. Now they are concentrating on Wii Sports REsort. Leaving Mario,Fox,Kirby, and friends with a long break. Sonic is keeping it up though, his game Sonic Unleashed is due this month, and Sonic and the Black Knight will be out in 2009! But aside from that, we haven't heard any news about other games about our favoritest characters. Who knows maybe Shigeru and Iwata have something up there sleeves for us?

As you know this came out in March 2009. Most of us have it by now... and this disables the Twilight Hack.... so now you must use BannerBomb, which is downloadable from our site..!

Date Released Version Region Channel updated and description of update

March 25, 2009 4.0 Many users have reported random freezing since applying the update, but has appeared to have been solved as well by deleting the photo channel 1.1 and reverting it back to 1.0 before downloading the update (also Nintendo has not acknowledged the problem yet).

Update includes SD Card Menu to "move" files and channels between the Wii console and SD card

Adds the ability to download Virtual Console and WiiWare games directly to the SD card from the Wii Shop Channel, and play them directly from the card. Though the Wii doesn't actually play it directly from SD-card. It rather copies it to the internal 512MB NAND-Flash before execution and deletes it automatically when loading a different game from the SD card.

Wii Shop Channel supports classic arcade games

Ability to save and access Wii Channels from the SD card

SDHC card (up to 32 GB) support for System Menu, Wii Speak Channel, Shop Channel, and Photo Channel. Other features may not support SDHC cards

Deletes every version of the Twilight hack (including 0.1beta2)

Patches IOS16, which was the last official IOS with the signing bug

Fixed the bug that was used in the Homebrew Channel installer (so all existing IOS-versions were updated)

Added IOS38, IOS53, IOS55, IOS60, and IOS61

System Menu runs on IOS60

Our site as of March 7

Other Channels

Elite Master Dimentio the Jester Posted by Elite Master Dimentio the Jester at 02:32 PM on December 24, 2008 Comments comments (0)

Wii Fit Channel

Wii Fit allows users to install a Wii Fit Channel to the Wii Menu. The channel allows them to view and compare their results, and those of others, as well as their progress in the game without requiring the game disc to be inserted.

The Channel is essentially a stripped down version of Wii Fit. It allows users to view statistics from the game including users' BMI measurements and balance test scores in the form of a line graph, as well as keep track of the various activities they have undertaken with a calendar. Users are also able to weigh themselves and do a BMI and balance test with the Channel once per day. However, if the player wishes to do any exercises or play any of the aerobics games and/or balance games, the Channel prompts the user to insert the Wii Fit game disc.

Mario Kart Channel

Mario Kart Wii allows players to install the Mario Kart Channel on their Wii console. The channel will work without the need of inserting the Mario Kart Wii disc into the a number of options. A ranking option lets players see their best Time Trial scores for each track and compare their results to those of their friends and other players worldwide, represented by their Miis. Players will have the option of racing against the Ghosts of the best players, or improving their results gradually by taking on the Ghosts of rivals whose times are only slightly better than theirs. Players can choose whether they want to share their Time Trial Ghosts with the rest of the world, allowing them to match their skills against the cream of the crop whenever they want. The ability to download a random Time Trial Ghost is also available. Players can also manage and register friends using the Channel and see if any of them are currently online. A unique feature is the ability to send invitations to Wii Friends registered in one's Wii Address Book. Since the invitation has the Mario Kart Wii Friend Code attached to it, when the Wii Friend accepts the invitation, Mario Kart Wii Friend Codes are automatically exchanged and registered.

Another feature of the channel are Tournaments, where Nintendo will, on a regular basis, invite players to challenges similar to the missions of Mario Kart DS. Players are also able to compare their competition rankings with other players.

Daigasso! Band Brothers DX Speaker Channel

The Nintendo DS game Daigasso! Band Brothers DX supports a Speaker Channel (which is downloadable from the Wii Shop Channel) that allows players to connect their game to a Wii console and let the game's audio be played through the Channel. The Channel supports multiple players. Currently, as with the game, the Speaker Channel is only released in Japan.

 Wii Speak Channel

Users with the Wii Speak peripheral can be able to access the Wii Speak Channel. Up to four rooms of people (with no limit to the number of people in each room) can chat with each other online. Each user is represented by their Mii, which lip syncs to their words. In addition, users can also leave audio messages for other users, by sending a message to their Wii Message Board. Users can also share photo slideshows and comment on them. The Channel became available in North America and in Europe on December 5th of 2008.

Everyone's Theater Channel

Everyone's Theater Channel is a video on demand service that offers movies and television episodes to Wii owners. Developed by Fuji Soft, it uses the company's ULEXIT video player for embedded devices which displays DVD quality video.

The Channel initially costs 500 Wii Points to download, with programs costing between 100 and 400 Points to access based on type of content, which ranges from children's programs to films and anime series. It will be released in Japan in December 2008.
